montreal pt 1

on the train to kingston i couldn't help but have a big smile on my face, looking out the window at the fields whizzing by, covered in snow or cotton wool or something mysterious and alien. i'm sure laura and sara were wondering what on earth was going through my mind.

i was smiling because i was looking forward to seeing my friend peter again. we always have such a laugh together, we share the same sense of humour. last year, in the flat, we would just laugh and laugh at nothing, or at everything, until it hurt.

and i find it easy to be around him, and feeling comfortable is something i miss. i am so, so tired of pretending, of keeping up this facade. it was a relief to let my guard down, even just for a couple of days.
